The cottage has deceptively spacious accommodation which is difficult to show. These photos will give you a feel for the interior of Rhubarb Cottage.

Downstairs:

The parquet-floored entrance hall, with downstairs toilet off, leads into the spacious Dining Room, where Patio doors open onto the courtyard garden. An attractive feature archway separates the Dining Room from the comfortable Sitting Room, which has an authentic brick fireplace and TV with Freeview digital channels. A DVD is also provided.
The kitchen has a range of cherry style modern cabinets, integrated halogen hob, built in eye-level oven, washing machine, microwave and refrigerator.

First Floor:

Wake up to the early morning sun streaming into your bed! The spacious front bedroom is very light and airy, featuring a king size iron-framed bed and wooden furniture from the 1930s and 40s.
The second bedroom is a cosy room with a double bed and a view out over the open forest.
The large bathroom contains a white suite with oversized shower/bath and an electric shower and heated towel rail.

Second Floor:

Go to bed under the stars! The third bedroom contains two 3' single beds, complemented by a range of modern fittings. Two windows in the sloping roof give you an excellent view across the forest and allow you to see the moon and stars whilst lying in bed (or, if you prefer, pull down the blackout blinds.)

Outside:
Cars can be parked on the purpose built parking strip outside of the cottage. The Custards is a very quiet area of Lyndhurst and is a large 'cul de sac' with no through traffic.
A side gate leads to the fully-enclosed courtyard garden where bicycles or surfboards that you may bring with you or hire at one of the Hire shops in the Forest can be securely stored. A barbeque is provided and a garden table and chairs provide the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine or beer after a hard day's sightseeing.
