Welcome to Rhubarb Cottage, a charming three-bedroomed, Victorian holiday cottage situated on the edge of Lyndhurst, in a road called The Custards! It has been rated at 4 star by the English Tourist Board.

The cottage is literally a stone's throw to the open forest where ponies, cattle, deer, donkeys and the occasional pig wander freely. Whether you choose a holiday cottage for a week in August or a long weekend break in the New Forest in the winter, you'll find plenty to occupy your time.Or, you can switch off and do very little indeed.

Rhubarb Cottage is a 30 second walk to the open New Forest and a 5 minute walk to Lyndhurst town centre where you will find a wide selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is situated on the edge of the town as you approach from the M27.
Everything that you will need for a self-catering holiday is within easy walking distance - no need to argue over who drives to the pub!
The New Forest Visitor Centre is situated in Lyndhurst, which is a great place to begin your exploration of the New Forest.

During 2006 we completely refurbished Rhubarb Cottage to a high standard. The new kitchen features a ceramic hob, built in eye-level oven, washing machine and microwave. The new bathroom has a luxurious white suite with shower/bath. The downstairs toilet has also been replaced with a modern suite. All of the windows and doors have been replaced. A Broadband internet connection is also available.
